Mestek Machinery of Cedar Rapids, Iowa acquired ISM Machinery of Grayslake, Illinois on December 31, 2012. ISM is a leading manufacturer of spiral duct fabricating machinery which it sells throughout the world. Mestek Machinery, through its Lockformer, Iowa Precision, Engel and Lion brands, is a leader in automated duct fabricating throughout the world for rectangular duct. Bryan Timmerman joins Mestek Machinery as the principal sales executive and product development manager for all spiral products which will be sold under the name “ISM by Lockformer.”

Both Mestek Machinery and ISM Machinery will be exhibiting at the AHR show in Dallas, Texas, January 28 to 30, 2013. Mestek Machinery will be showing its highly productive and space efficient Engel Value Plus II automated duct line among other products that will improve duct shop and duct installation productivity. ISM will show new and exciting spiral duct machines and accessories. The “ISM by Lockformer” products will include a full range of spiral tubeformers, oval duct lines, spiral and oval tooling, oval rollers, gorelockers, stitcherwelders, strip angle formers, and spiral/oval flange formers. ISM by Lockformer will combine its best dealer/distribution from around the globe to offer its products.
